Australia's Big Four Bank CEOs Annual Review in October &
Round 7 Royal Commission appearance in November ... it's boom time!

The House of Representatives Economics Committee will have to ask some tough questions now that the Hayne financial services Royal Commission has exposed some shocking abuses by the banks. And still .... it's just the tip of the iceberg.

The next Big Four Banks review dates are 11th, 12th and 19th of October. The public is welcome and BRN wants you to help make sure the committee members know what you want them to do. Ask the hard questions - hold the CEOs to account and see to it that the Royal Commission will be extended. These review meetings set the scene for the CEOs appearance at Round Seven of the Royal Commission. Justice will be done - if people join in now.

Don't Hold Back - It's Time For Action & YOU Are Needed

Bank warriors and concerned citizens. Right now is the time to unite with a single, powerful voice. The next few weeks are critical if we want to see an extended and more powerful Banking Royal Commission. Bank Reform Now is asking YOU to help wake the "Sleeping Giant" - our friends and families - the wonderful people of Australia.

There are a few simple things that anyone can do to support this campaign. It is essential that as many of you as possible join in right now. We are winning.

Banking Victims meet with NAB's CEO Thorburn at Parliamentary Hearings

Mr Andrew Thorburn (NAB Bank CEO) made some very significant comments at his appearance in front of the House Economics Committee at the annual Big4 Banks review. Bank Reform Now provide some critical excerpts in this article. First, there are four cases the MPs were very concerned about seeing investigated and satisfactorily resolved - Rita Troiani (Wide Bay Bricks), Faye Andrews, Bill Mott and the Furneaux case.

Next, we have some important highlights. It is good to see that Mr Thorburn is committed to giving bank victims full and open access to essential files, documents and other evidence. We are also pleased that he wants to be held personally accountable!

Have our politicians got the guts & decency to tear down a criminal finance system?

In the ten years since the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) - have governments done enough to reform the system? The horrific succession of scandals since then suggests not. Is the next GFC on its way?

Only by the Australian people uniting and demanding real reforms will we get the job done. Banking is organised crime on a grand scale. The finance sector has rigged the game so that they extract a disproportionate amount of Australia's wealth. It's time to bring it back.

Public pressure will now force Scott Morrison to extend the Banking Royal Commission

Bill Shorten has now publicly called for a turbocharged, longer and stronger Banking Royal Commission. He wants the whole crooked box and dice exposed. He wants bank victims properly heard. He didn't mention compensation, but he will.

This is good news - because now PM Scott Morrison has the opportunity to begin governing in a new way. A way not seen in Australia for a very long time. We may now see bipartisan support for policies that are demanded by the people. Over recent years the two parties have been in lockstep on issues many people were very worried about.

No-one can now say that the banks have clean hands. The RC has already shown serious misconduct. The next step is to have a proper Royal Commission, but we also want the government and opposition to prove themselves. Read on to see what they need to do next week.

Changing Senate Support For Extended Bank RC In Just 6 Weeks!

The Banking Royal Commission and the recent political turmoil in Canberra have changed the environment we are dealing with. Up to now, the elite could rip us off with government support. This article shows what happens when ordinary Australian people wake up to how they are being abused and to the fact that they have the power to stop it.

Politicians enjoy the privileges and perks of office thanks to our votes and our money. Many of us are now prepared to turf pollies off the gravy train if they disrespect our will and Australia's interests.

As of right now, Australian Politicians don't have to be afraid of bankers not giving them a donation or a job when they leave office. They need to be afraid of us. Look what happened with less than six weeks of well-planned people power.

The circus in Canberra has reached a new low

A big thank you to Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull, Peter Dutton and ..... Bill Shorten. Together you have insured the end of the two party dictatorship. If you thought the 2016 election was rough ...... your parties will be lucky to get primary votes above 25%. Aussies have had a gut full of corruption, crumby policy and big egos wrecking our country and abusing our people.

Californian woman launches historic legal case

Bankers do not loan you money from deposits taken. They "create credit" with a fraudulent contract. Billie Rene' Powers will make history on July 30th in a Californian Court that will expose the criminal and abusive nature of banking. All countries and their people will see justice finally done.

Answer the question and you'll change banking

Banks operate in a way that causes great harm to individuals and nations. What would your life be like if they operated in a way that was fair, honest and harmless?

Imagine what an honest banking system would look like. Also think about this - just because something is legal doesn't mean it's not harmful. Our big problem is -  if we can't stop the illegal things banks do right now how can we hope to stop the legal things they do that are harmful?

Take action to level the playing field

Do you think a bank that has ripped you off would take you to court if you had the same legal fire power as they do? Even better ..... do you think a bank would rip you off in the first place if they knew you could successfully take them on in any court required? BRN contributor Michael Sanderson is asking you to put a submission into the Royal Commission. Success will see banks responsible for their clients' legal expenses. It's a game changer. He's written templates for you to use. If he gets thousands of new submissions Commissioner Hayne will have to extend the duration of the RC. Join in .... we only get one RC - make it work ..... much better than what Turnbull and his banker mates had planned.
