Virus Crisis - Act NOW

People must be saved. No-one should go homeless or bankrupt. Time for a RESET

At the risk of being contrarian - allow us to present the speech you are unlikely to hear from Scott Morrison.

My fellow Australians - the virus crisis is now an international emergency. I don’t want you to panic but if world leaders handle this badly they will actually cause a worldwide depression not seen since the 1930s.

There is no need for that to happen. The reason such a tragedy is possible is that most societies are structured in a way which suits the "rulers" of the world. GDP and perpetual growth are their fanatical focus. You and I are effectively serfs working in their interests. Like any organised crime operation, the ruling elite - Royalty, Religions and Banking interests take a cut out of everything we do. You are only allowed to pretend to own your lives and the baubles, distractions and other products that you are encouraged and permitted to purchase. The real wealth of the world has been stolen and is concentrated in the hands of the 0.1% (see Oxfam's regular reports).

Right now most world leaders have been instructed to use a Bail Out model to provide an “economic stimulus” to their countries. This is spending taxpayer funds and increasing debt. Both of which are just another way to continue fleecing people and their countries. Once that approach is exhausted they will trigger a Bail In whereby the bankers will confiscate your deposits and super. The window to stop that is now very small – perhaps months, maybe even weeks.

The COVID-19 crisis will be used by the elite to impose draconian and authoritarian policies on you …… permanently.

There are three main purposes to the policies I announce tonight.

A. We want to stop the spread of the virus and save as many Aussie lives as possible.

B. We want to stop people and businesses experiencing bankruptcy and homelessness.

C. We want to make sure you all have access to essential goods and services. No-one goes hungry. If you need critical medical care you will get it.

The following policies will protect our people, businesses and country.

If you are well (ie no fever and virus symptom free) and you work in an industry that is going OK and you can work safely on site or from home please continue to do so. Use your ingenuity to work out ways that you can still operate while limiting personal contact with your clients, customers and work colleagues Use the internet, clean delivery methods and any other innovations that can let you earn an income safely.

If you are able to do this and/or you are financially secure please do not claim any government benefits that you can do without.

Right now many businesses are struggling – Hibernation is required

If your business is struggling with a lack of customers and you can’t overcome this with modifications to your business model we want you to participate in our business hibernation program. This applies to many businesses - including restaurants and airlines. Your assets remain valuable no matter what happens. They must be preserved and protected and we will help you do that.

If you must temporarily close the doors you still have your premises, your stock and your equipment. Your bank debts will be put on hold and interest will be waived until we are through the crisis. Your business will not be slugged any government fees, taxes or charges. You will not be charged any water, electricity or gas bills. If you are paying rent that too will be suspended. If your landlord depends on your payments to survive they can apply to the government for an emergency top up payment. If they can absorb the loss for some length of time they should. Once the crisis is over you and the other hibernating businesses can reopen.

We are going through an emergency that we never thought we’d see. Drastic and innovative measures are required. The entities that take a hit from not getting payments from you and your business will be looked after as best we can. If you can’t do business because of the virus you should not be paying out while your business is put into hibernation.

If we put this program into place right now we expect the crisis to be over much sooner than if we fiddle about with piecemeal policy on the run while we watch more and more people getting infected.

Many people don’t realise just how wealthy Australia is. We do not need to be working forty hours per week to shelter and feed ourselves. We shouldn’t need to have two full time breadwinners to look after our families. Many of us are even doing “bullshit jobs” that serve no useful purpose. This type of “economy” has been forced upon us to enable the elite to control nations and profit from your existence.

Things can and will be done differently during this emergency - our country’s survival as a vibrant free democracy depends on it.

We want most people to take a break from the usual work life routine. We want many of you to stay at home for most of the time. This will help stop the spread of the virus. This starts from now and will be reassessed every two weeks to gauge progress. If you are free of fever and virus symptoms you can still go out to purchase food and other grocery products. There are no significant shortages. Do not panic and buy in bulk to hoard. If you already have done so we'll forgive you if you stop now and perhaps see if others can use some of your excess supplies.

By limiting contact with others and practicing the now critical hygiene routines the virus can be slowed right down and perhaps stopped. In addition the coming flu season will see far fewer illnesses and deaths. If the whole world took this opportunity and could do this as effectively as Aussies will we could come close to eradicating some viral illnesses (a silver lining to the dark cloud we are now living under).

Essential Industries

We are focusing on keeping essential industries and services fully functional. This includes:

Food production
Food sales and distribution
Utilities: Electricity, Gas, Water, Fuel, Telecommunications
Toilet paper and other such essentials. [If you have a garage full of toilet paper there are clearly a large number of arseholes in your family. If I see you selling toilet paper behind the empty pub watch out..!!!]
Aged care facilities
Pharmaceutical sales and supply
Emergency services: ambos / firies / police / hospitals / medical clinics
Manufacture of essential medical equipment and supplies
Sanitation services – sewerage, garbage collection, cleaning

Workers in these areas are our champions and we will help them stay fit and well to continue their critical work.

There is plenty of food and essentials to go around.  Money will no longer be used as a tool of control. If your job has been temporarily suspended you will be given a payment equal to your usual pay. Think of it as a rescue package. We don’t want anyone to become hungry or homeless during this crisis. There is no point wasting “stimulus” money and providing useless tax breaks while businesses can’t ramp up and take risks with more debt under the current circumstances. That is a recipe for economic Armageddon.

Time to hit the RESET Button

We can afford this program because we are putting in place a National Bank and rekindling a properly functioning Sovereign Monetary System. Australia already has Monetary Sovereignty. We politicians seem to have forgotten how to use it and its power to shape an economy that works in your interests.

As a stepping stone to help us through this crisis we have redefined the social and economic contract our country has with the banks. The profits from credit creation will return and remain with the people. There are some clever people working within the upper echelons of all the major banks. They will be kindly asked to assist the transformation of the industry to work in the people’s interests.

In addition we are establishing a Sovereign Wealth Fund. To start the ball rolling we will be repatriating much of the country’s wealth that has been stolen by the elite over the last couple of hundred years.

Activists have called for various policies similar to these for a number of years. Of course politicians ignored these calls because they served the elite against their own country’s interests. Will we choose freedom or slavery? I now choose freedom for my country. The current crisis is a historic opportunity to reset the structure and function of our country’s economy and the way we live, work and play. The balance between work and family will swing back to being human friendly. We will see many improvements in the way we live: less mental illness; less poverty; less homelessness; less drug & alcohol abuse.

War, pestilence and famine – used through the ages by rulers to control and rob people in just about every corner of the world. I’m going to do my best to stop this right here - right now.

We are Aussies. If we work together we can - not just get through this – but have a far better country – no longer ruled by a corrupt and criminal elite who profit from chaos, death and destruction. A country where we all get a fair go. That's what I want ... how about you?

Just to make it clear - this is a transcript of a speech not delivered by Scott Morrison on the night of the 18th of March. We are using it to make some key points in a hopefully interesting way to stimulate discussion.

We really do believe that Australia is now at a crossroads. Good decisions right now can lead to the country surviving the COVID-19 crisis with the least possible deaths. In addition we can prevent a shocking economic crisis which – if it is allowed to occur – will change the country for the worse, forever.
